Andy Smenos (American, b.1981) is a Brooklyn based painter, who's work revolves around the concept of capturing moments in one's life. Andy paints the people around him, the city in which he lives and the random and abstract objects that come in and out of his life. He employs a bright palette that reflects his outlook and childlike views of life. Using a traditional technique of paint application, he is able to paint contemporary scenes that have a timeless feel.
