E Harris

Chicago

E. Harris (American born, 1981) is a Chicago native and perhaps one of the city’s most curious and upbeat public artists. What began, as a summer fling on the streets of Brooklyn in 2004 has become a confession for a love of simplicity. Harris’ objective to merge his love of vintage food art with found materials is more than just an attempt to turn what some may consider trash into treasure. It is an expression of frustration, an attempt to say that sometimes making out is better than sex, and that sometimes the crush is better than the actual relationship, that sometimes the expectations that have a tendency to ruin a relationship are often times not worth the pain of breaking up. This isn’t love, but Love Like.
