Erica Hauser

Erica Hauser has lived in Beacon for just over a year, having moved from New York City for theabundance of natural beauty and creative inspiration that she continues to find here. She received a BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in 2002 and has since shown her paintings and drawings in several New York City and Hudson Valley-area galleries. These include the Edward Hopper House in Nyack, Opus Gallery in Mount Kisco, Washington Square East Gallery and Doma CafÈ in NYC, and most recently Go North in Beacon. In addition to various freelance art commissions and projects, such as a one-week Valentine's Day cupcake shop/art installation, she participated in Beacon's Windows on Main Street 2007 and had her work featured on the June/July and Oct/Nov covers of the Valley Table.
