Rick Griffith has always had an appetite for all things typographic which has lead him to investigate the history of printing, writing systems and to revive a movement of designart and printing arts. His approach has been recognized by The Art Directors Club, The Type Directors Club, Print Magazine, How Magazine and Adbusters. His work is currently available in 7 museum/library collections in the United States, including the AIGA Archives. He teaches typography and a variety of critical theory courses at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences on and off for over a dozen years.
