The Grocer is originally from Iowa but has made Chicago his home for the past nine years. Before embracing fruits and vegetables as a subject matter he worked as an art director for an interactive design agency and created lots of small abstract paintings in his free time. Now he eats like a rabbit and wakes up before the crack of dawn, pasting up joy and color in the drab cityscape.
